Everything you need to know about Christmas in the Village

What is it?

McFarland's annual Christmas in the Village is an all day event featuring open houses at local businesses, a parade, bonfire, a chance for kids to meet Santa, and many more Holiday-themed activities!

New this year! A Vendor Village will be located in Arnold Larson Park from 10am - 2pm, where you can browse booths from local vendors. The perfect opportunity to support local businesses and pick up a Christmas gift or two. Another new addition to this year's event is Picnic in the Park with Santa. This event will take place in the tent area from 5pm - 6:30pm. Tickets need to be purchased in advance and are available for purchase via cash or check at McFarland State Bank, McFarland House Cafe, and Village Hall. Tickets are $5.00 per person and include a hot dog, chips, cookie, and drink. 

Warm up by the fire while you enjoy free hot cider or cocoa at the Holiday Bonfire and Community Tree Lighting held at Arnold Larson Park. Christmas carols will be performed by the McFarland High School Choir and accompanied by Solstice Brass led by Quinn Leonard. Santa Claus will arrive to the park by fire truck, courtesy of the McFarland Fire & Rescue Department. Beginning at the fire station, the illuminated fire trucks will parade around our historic downtown area before arriving at the bonfire to drop off Santa.

Saturday,  December 1st. 

Vendor Village: 10am - 2pm. 

Holiday Bonfire/Community Tree Lighting: 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Illuminated Fire Truck Parade: 5:00pm

Picnic in the Park with Santa: 5pm - 6:30pm

Volunteers Needed!
