There’s no shortage of fun activities to do on July 4th. From neighborhood parades to backyard cookouts with friends and family, Independence Day gives us more fun options than there are hours in the day. For those of us who want to celebrate the holiday with a bang, there’s no bigger bang than a firework show! Here is a list of where you can see Fireworks this year in Dane County:

1. DeForest: DeForest 4th of July Celebration

July 3rd - 4th (Fireworks on the 3rd at dusk). Enjoy fun activities including food vendors, live music, a car show, pony rides, parade (at 10am on the 4th), and tons more! 

2. Madison: Post-Match Fireworks at Breese Stevens Field

June 28th after the Forward Madison FC match. Enjoy music, games, giveaways, player meet-and-greets, and more on the pitch after the FMFC v One Knoxville SC match!

3. Madison: Madison Mallards Post Game Fireworks

July 3rd - Game @ 5:35pm - Fireworks to follow. Take the field and watch the Festival Food Fireworks Show at Warner Park after the game vs. Wausau!

4. Madison: Madison Night Mares Post Game Fireworks

July 4th - Game @ 6:05pm - Fireworks to follow. Fans can take the field to celebrate Independence Day and watch post-game fireworks over Warner Park!

5. Maple Bluff: Fest on the 4th

July 4th @ dusk. Celebrate the 4th of July at the Village of Maple Bluff's annual Independence Day Celebration, featuring a 5K, parade, and tons of activities for the whole family. End the day by catching the fireworks at Beach Park at dusk.

6. Mazomanie: Independence Day Celebration at Lion's Park

July 4th @ dusk. Join everyone at Lion's Park for a fun day including a Youth Baseball Tourney, pool games and free root beer floats at the Mazomanie Pool and Splash Pad, food and drinks, and more!

7. Monona: Monona Community Festival

July 3rd & 4th (Fireworks on the 4th at dusk). This annual festival takes place in Monona's Winnequah Park, and features live music, a beer and wine tent, food carts, team trivia, classic car show, art fair, games, a carnival, and tons more activities to keep you and your family entertained for the entire weekend. 8. Shorewood Hills: Independence Day Celebration

July 4th @ dusk. The Village of Shorewood Hills will once again have their Independence Day Celebration featuring tons of fun activities including a triathlon, softball game, art fair, parade, and their 29th annual Adult Waterfight Tournament. End the day with a fantastic display of fireworks at Blackhawk Country Club!

9. Stoughton: Fourth of July Fireworks

July 4th @ dusk. Best viewing locations for the fireworks include: The Grandstands at The Stoughton Fair, Veteran's Memorial Park, or Rotary Gazebo Park. Make sure to allow time to find parking!

10. Sun Prairie: Angell Park Speedway Racing + Fireworks

June 29th after the checkered flag Enjoy a night of fireworks and racing at Angell Park Speedway, featuring Badger Midgets, IMCA Modifieds, and Midwest Legends Dirt Series

11. Verona: City of Verona and Festival Foods Fireworks Show

July 2nd at 9:30pm Join the City of Verona and Festival Foods at Hometown USA Festival Park for an incredible fireworks display!

12. Waunakee: WaunaBoom

July 4th from 2-10:30pm (Fireworks at 9:45pm). Waunakee's famous WaunaBoom festival at Ripp Park features tons of activities for both adults and children including live music, free family activities, food carts, an F-35 flyover by the 115th Fighter Wing, and tons more! End a day of fun with an impressive fireworks show with music!
