Life in Cambridge.
The Village of Cambridge was settled in the 1840s around mills on Koshkonong Creek and incorporated in 1891. Most of the village is in Dane County, with a small part across the line in Jefferson County.
Koshkonong Creek runs through the middle of town on its way south to Lake Koshkonong. Lake Ripley is just east of the village, and CamRock County Park, with its trails, lies along the creek between Cambridge and Rockdale.
The district serves Cambridge, Rockdale, and Lake Ripley (unincorporated), along with surrounding towns.
